Thai Boxing or Muay Thai

If it's your first time in Thailand be sure to check out a pulse pounding Thai Boxing Match. Called Muay Thai, this ancient sport is known as the "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively. My favorite place to catch an action packed match in Bangkok is at the renowned Lumpini Stadium (Tel:+66-02252-8765), where thousands of onlookers marvel at the physical prowess of competitors.I also like to visit Ratchadamnoen Stadium (Tel:+66-0-2281-4205)because of the big time bouts held there. There are also plenty of places to see or learn Muay Thai all around Thailand, including Pattaya and Phuket.
